The Last Trump

You boldly proclaim that you are waiting for the sound of the last trumpet because you believe the sounding of the last trumpet is the announcement of the pre-tribulation Rapture.

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Okay, so if that is the last trumpet when is the first Trumpet sounded?

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. Many believe Rev 4:1 is the rapture event. The common belief is that the voice John heard is the trumpet that is spoken of in 1 Cor 15:52. Which would make “coming up” into the pre-tribulation rapture. All because he heard a voice saying, “Come up hither,” and doing so right before all the bad stuff happens in most of the chapters that follow. This event that John participates in cannot be the rapture however because as stated, the first voice he heard is as a trumpet. As soon as Christianity assigned the Rapture to John saying, “Come up hither” they botched the event with the contradiction between the sound of the first trump and the sound of the last trump. The two verses cannot contradict each other in order to keep the claim of Rev 4:1 as being the rapture event for the living believer and the dead in Christ. Simply put, the first trumpet sound of the revelation cannot be the last trumpet sound when seven more trumpets are yet to sound for the 7 trumpet judgments’ of Rev chapters 8-11. 1 Cor 15:52 says that the grand event will be at the sound of the last trump. So when is the last Trumpet sounded or perhaps the last voice as a trumpet heard in scripture? Let’s back up for a minute.

What exactly is a trumpet in scripture and when were the Israelites told to blow them? Is there some kind of significance to the sound of a trumpet?

Why do we assume that the last trump is blown from Heaven by an angel?

Could it be that the last Trump is actually blown by one of us among the living during the Feast of Trumpets or some other assigned time when a trumpet is required to be blown according to Moses and the Prophets?

As stated, we also have the 7 trumpet judgments to consider. None of them from the first to the last alludes to the event where the dead in Christ rise and then the living Join Christ in the air. What I believe has transpired is that Christianity wants desperately to believe that it will not participate in the great tribulation, that it has grasped at straws by assigning Rev 4:1 as the only place in Revelation where the church can be removed before the bad stuff unfolds. They even go as far as stating that the churches are not mentioned in Rev anywhere after chapter 3. Friend, John was told to write EVERYTHING in Revelation to the seven churches.

I am not denying that the rapture will happen, I am just saying that I no longer believe it will happen before the Tribulation period begins.

Yeshua describes the sinner as his sheep that has gone astray. You wander through life and HE SEEKS YOU OUT! He left the flock behind and he searches for you and finds you where you are. He has great joy within himself because you were lost and He searched for you and found you. He doesn’t let you return on your own power, instead he picks you up and carries you with your legs around his neck. He returns and gathers his friends and neighbors and announces to them the great news that you were found! Everyone CHEERS!

Luk 15:1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
Luk 15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
Luk 15:3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Luk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Luk 15:5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Luk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
Luk 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Are you lost today?
Has your sin taken you to a place where you are alone, helpless and vulnerable?
In another scripture Yeshua said, “My sheep hear my voice and follow me.”
Joh_10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Can you see the whole host of heaven waiting and getting excited as they see you recognizing that you need to turn away from everything that lead you away from his flock.

What does it mean to repent? It means to turn back to his law, The Torah and delight in it. Read that again.

Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Psa 1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Psa 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Psa 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
He is walking through the wilderness that you wandered into and he is calling out for you. Do you hear his voice?
When his sheep hear his voice they follow him?
Pro 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Pro 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
Pro 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Pro 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Pro 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Pro 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Pro 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Pro 3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
Pro 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Pro 3:11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
Pro 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

I can see the host of heaven like a crowd in a foot ball stadium watching you and you can feel the excitement as they see your eyes opening up and you hearing his voice.
He finds you where you are and you hear his voice and run to him. The crowd goes wild with a roar of excitement as they see that you are found!
He is speaking to you. You are in great darkness. Run to his voice and jump into his arms and let him carry you home. The host of heaven is watching!
~ Amen

In the days we live in we have even more reasons to draw closer to God. Everything in scripture is a rehearsal for the Day of the Lord or the revealing of Jesus the Christ. (The Book of Revelation) We are to keep the law that God downloaded to Moses as part of that rehearsal. The keeping of the Sabbath or the 7th Day with rest is a reminder that God made the Heavens and the Earth in the 6 day creation and set an order to everything including the animals that have his breath of life in them so that when we face the lies spun against everything he said was GOOD after every created Day we are well rehearsed in his truth and will not be deceived by everything that is EVIL that takes place before his revealing. It is time to turn to God because the great Tribulation is upon us and the church has been fooled into thinking that they will be taken before it begins. The wheat is separated from the chaff and the chaff is burned. No one is left behind. The word “behind” has been added to the narrative and give the false notion that a continual period exists for those that are left. The two in the field and the one is taken and the other is left. No one was left “behind” to survive in the Days of Noah. The people immediately drown when the windows of Heaven opened up and the floods came.. Just as in the Days of Noah so is the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Mat 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Mat 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
