The five foolish virgins are believers in his coming. With that said, please consider the following question:
Who is left outside the gates of the Holy city, New Jerusalem, or the KINGDOM of Heaven?
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. ~ Rev 22:15
How can John proclaim that murders, etc., are outside of the gates of the holy city?
"The Great Tribulation" comes before the Holy Kingdom arrives.
Do you find yourself saying, “I will read the bible when that time comes and I will learn what to do to survive because I will know that the great tribulation is happening?” I find that many have this same mindset.
I will learn “on the go.”
We fail to heed the warning of Christ when he spoke of the 10 virgins. Five were wise and had oil in their lamps and five were foolish and had no oil. Every one of them knows the groom is on his way. When he was about to arrive at the gate the five wise virgins lit their oil lamps and ran through the darkness to meet the groom. The five foolish virgins begged the five wise virgins to share their oil but they replied to them, “If I do, I will not have enough for the journey to the gate. Go and buy your own oil.” The five foolish did not have the necessary oil to make the journey through the darkness (The Great Tribulation). Once they finally learned what they needed to know, once they finally bought the truth, they made it to the gate but the gate was now closed. Friend, this is where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Not by those who rejected Christ but by those who knew him and refused to do what he said to do to have oil in their lamps. These saved eternal believers banged on the door of the kingdom but the groom said to them, I never knew you. Can you imagine knowing and believing he is coming and not preparing properly for his arrival? You will weep and grind your own teeth because you find yourself outside the kingdom walls in darkness and shut out of the light of the Holy Kingdom forever. This outer darkness is where the SAVED that continued to disobey his commandments and remained murderers and thieves and whoremongers will spend eternity because they did not follow his “commandments.” Friend, your obedience to rehearse his commandments is the oil in your lamp that lights your way through the great tribulation. His commandments are the Torah or the first five books of the bible that show you the way or path to safety that Elohim (God) provided to the characters of each story. They include but are not limited to remembering his six-day creation and everything that he said was good and keeping the Sabbath and his feast days and Rehearsing all of them just like he said to do them in the Torah. This oil in your lamp is the way to safety for those saved wise virgins who want to hear and rehearse his way to safely make it to the gate upon his arrival.
Friend, I get it, you are saved by grace and so am I. However, being saved alone is not the instruction on how to live the rest of your life. Elohim gave rehearsal instructions that Israel was to follow FOREVER. If you are saved by grace and not of Israeli heritage by birth, then you are grafted into their covenant when you got saved. You must do what Elohim (God) said they must do forever.
Do you want to spend eternity outside the gate or inside where there are all the blessings foretold in the scriptures?
Mat 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
Mat 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Mat 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
Mat 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Mat 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
Mat 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Mat 25:7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
Mat 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
Mat 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
Mat 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Mat 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
Mat 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Mat 25:13 Watch, therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Daniel disobeyed the Government when he prayed in his window.
The church was misled into believing that they must obey the government because Yahshua said "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's," when he was challenged about paying tribute to Caesar by the religious right.
The church overlooked the fact that the ones that challenged him with the question about paying tribute were the religious law-enforcing Sadducees and they were trying to trip Yahshua into sin. Yahshua, knowing the evil in their hearts asked, “Whose IMAGE is on the coin?” They responded, "Caesar." These LAW-abiding Sadducees knew full well that any graven image is idolatry. Moses made it very clear not to make nor serve any likeness of anything on Earth, in Heaven, or in the Water as stated in the Book of Exodus Chapter 20.
Their challenge was an attempt to trap Yahshua into agreement with idolatry because they had to use the government money to pay tribute. His response to them was, "It has Caesars' Image on it so feel free to give it to him, but DON'T GIVE IT TO GOD!" Give only to God the things that God said in the Torah to give to him. Christ’s answer was not to say it was okay to obey the Government or to pay taxes. He was answering against the EVIL challenge of complying with Idolatry clearly saying don't give your idols to God. With that said we should be concerned with whose image is on the money you give at church. This is food for thought when we remember Yahuah’s commandment not to bring other gods before him.
Ref:
Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Mar 12:13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.
Mar 12:14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
Mar 12:15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
Mar 12:16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.
Mar 12:17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
