Happy New Year! The year began after the sunset last evening, but we are still in the day! We recognize the first day of the month by observing the sky for the first sliver (one-seventh) of the moon in the western sky. We had cloud cover last night.

what is this?

It is my understanding that the Passover begins on Sunday, Apr 13, 2025, 7:48 PM Eastern Standard Time USA. This is because the Biblical year begins with the appearance of the first 7th of the moon revealing itself in the western sky. This moon sighting is officially noted as the first day of the New Year because it happens after the sun has officially crossed the equator on the northern side of the Earth. This sliver moon is the beginning of the first day of the first month. This first day of the New Year happened on Mar 30th in the evening.

Reminder that Elohim set our understanding of Days and years right from the beginning in:
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Every biblical day begins in the evening after sundown and ends with brilliant light. The first day in scripture was born in darkness and ended with brilliant light even though the sun and moon were not created until the fourth day.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Side note: it was Pope Gregory who changed the calendar day from the day beginning at sundown as described throughout scripture to the day beginning at midnight. He also changed the year from beginning in the Spring to the year beginning at the winter solstice in January. These changes make Christian believers observe Elohim’s appointed Feasts at the wrong times.
Christ ate the Passover lamb and unleavened bread and bitter herbs meal that Elohim commanded Israel to eat annually at this appointed time (14 days after the first day of the new year) and did so with his disciples. As a believer in Christ, we are charged to remember that it was after the Passover meal when Yahshua was betrayed captured tried, and crucified. This all took place before 9:00 Am the next morning. He died on the cross at about 3:00 PM and was buried in the tomb before Sundown. We know from scripture that the ones burying him rushed his burial so that they would not be “working” to bury him on the Sabbath as the sun went down.
For those celebrating, Happy Passover! May HIS Resurrection Celebration bring Joy and salvation to all!
The focus during the Last Supper was put on the bread that Yahshua broke and gave to his disciples. I say this because we need to understand that the Fall of Man was because of disobedience to specific food instructions.
Why do I say that?
When Adam and Eve were driven out of EDEN their diet was changed from Fruit from the Tree of Life to BREAD. This bread was to be eaten for food as part of Adam's punishment. Understand this, bread is the FOOD that Christ was tempted to transform stone from when Satan tempted him in the wilderness.
Mat 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
This temptation is a mockery because Satan influenced the fall of man over food instruction that came from Elohim speaking his WORD from his mouth. A mockery, because Elohim had to give NEW FOOD INSTRUCTIONS and the result was from life-giving fruit to bread that would not sustain eternal life.
Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
We all know that bread plays a key role in the PASSOVER event that Elohim (God) told the children of Israel to observe and perform every year forever. If you are a Christian and you are not of Israeli heritage (blood line), then please understand that upon your belief in embracing Christ for yourself as your own personal savior, you are grafted into the ordinances they were commanded to observe.
Nowhere in scripture do we find Yahshua telling his followers to ignore the Passover celebration meal nor to alter the actual food instructions. You should read that again. In fact, Christ himself said to his disciples that as often as you EAT THIS MEAL, remember me.
I have stated many times that Passover is an end-times rehearsal for our Exodus because every year they were to have their clothes on and staff in hand ready to simulate leaving their homes forever. The Last Supper of Christ is celebrated every year in the springtime in the first Hebrew month starting on the 14th day beginning at sundown. I believe the FIRST supper was the Passover. The Passover meal consisted of lamb and unleavened bread, bitter herbs, and wine. It was to be eaten in haste, (a hurried meal) with everyone in the home fully dressed and ready to travel. This command was for all the children of Israel in preparation for their departure from the bondage of Egypt. The day before the Passover began Elohim (God) told Moses to have the children of Israel kill a one-year-old male lamb and collect its blood in a hyssop and apply the blood on the doorposts and lintel of every house of the children of Israel. After the sun went down they were all to remain inside their homes all night and eat the lamb.
The Passover preparations were commanded by Elohim in response to the Pharaoh’s decree that all the firstborn of Israel would die. So Elohim turned Pharaoh's murderous will onto Pharaoh’s own people. That night, Elohim caused the Angel of Death to PASSOVER the land of EGYPT. The firstborn of each house was spared in every house that had lambs' blood on the doorposts and lintel. Every single house in Egypt that did not have the lambs’ blood had someone inside the house die. Everyone that died was the firstborn of their own house.
As the children of Israel departed Egypt the next morning they ate unleavened bread because they needed to move so quickly that they didn’t even have time for their bread to rise. These were the days of unleavened bread.
The LAST supper was also called the Last Supper because Christ said that HE would not eat this annual celebration meal again and that they, the living disciples, and the nation of Israel, would continue to eat until he ate it with his disciples in the restored KINGDOM. (When you pray the Our Father Prayer, this is the KINGDOM you are asking to come when you say, “…thy Kingdom come…thy will be done…”) They, his disciples, continued to celebrate the PASSOVER meal annually AFTER CHRIST ROSE FROM THE DEAD and that is clearly evident in the book of ACTS when the disciples were observing the days of unleavened bread the following year. The Apostle Paul even stated that believers should eat the Feast.
1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
The PASSOVER celebration is required to be rehearsed FOREVER for Israel.
Christ will resume eating The PASSOVER meal with his disciples when the KINGDOM is restored to Israel. That event has not happened yet. You may say, “I am a Christian, not a Jew. I do not have to rehearse the Passover” Friend, according to the scripture, if you believe you are a Christian, then you are grafted into Israel. A branch grafted into a tree relies on those tree roots for life giving water and nutrients, and nourishment and growth. The moment you called on Christ to save you and give you eternal life, you became part of Israel’s heritage as the seed of Abraham. You are not going to have any oil in your lamp to light your way through the darkness of this world if you refuse to fill it with his ways. Yes, I agree that Yahshua is the way the truth, and the life. He practiced this and you are to be like Christ. He said as often as you eat THIS meal (The Passover) and drink this cup, do it in remembrance of me. This is a specific FEAST that Elohim told Israel to observe annually at a specific time of the year, forever.
Consider the following:
One of the Ten Commandments is, Thou shall have no other Gods before me. Many of you participated in dragging the pagan god Ishtar (Easter) before Elohim (God) and you did it in the name of Christ and then defiled your body, which is the temple, of Elohim.
Wait, What?
Many defiled their temple by eating an unclean beast by having swine or ham dinner in direct violation of the Law of Moses. You did so relating it to one of his appointed Feast Days which is a day he specifically gave food instructions to follow. (It was food instructions in Eden that were disobeyed, that caused the fall of man)
As a Christian believer, you may even find it embarrassing to say the true holiday name that Elohim gave for the event because you have been trained by religious teachings to embrace the name of a false god and avoid the true PASSOVER celebration. You even practice the pagan ritual of fertility and say, “Happy Easter” to everyone. Not only did you celebrate it based on a false calendar you honored or brought a god before Elohim and applied the celebration to Christ's resurrection.
You think PASSOVER does not apply to you even though Elohim told Israel to observe it every year at the same time as an ordinance forever. Yet at the same time, you may also believe and agree that you are grafted into Israel and their ways when you accepted Christ as your Savior.
Christ washed away the sin of the world he did not wash away the Torah, the way of Life (also called the law of Moses). The five books of the Torah are the instructions for life.
Satan does not want us to celebrate Yahuah’s instructions and has put a stumbling block in the face of Christianity, and that trap is also in the Bible in the book of Acts. Satan relies on the fact that we do not know the scriptures or are careless with their meanings. In Eden, the Serpent was given the license to change the words of Elohim (God) when he was speaking with Adam's wife, Eve. She was redirected away from the true instructions of Elohim about what to eat, and not to eat, and left with the thought that Elohim deliberately misled Adam because he didn’t want his eyes to be open, knowing good and evil.
Easter is NOT a Christian celebration in Acts 12:4. The translator of the scripture used the PAGAN GODS’ NAME “EASTER” in place of the PASSOVER CELEBRATION that Herod is speaking of because the translator identified the time being celebrated with their own pagan custom that was celebrated at the same time. Herod was the Jewish KING and was being political by holding off on killing Peter, with the author of the book noting that the Jews were KEEPING THE PASSOVER and were at the point of the celebration observing the days of unleavened bread.
Act 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
Act 12:2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
Act 12:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
Act 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
Act 12:5 Peter, therefore, was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
We now know that to celebrate “Easter” is to drag a false God before Elohim and insult his laws and ordinances for Israel the church to do, and we know many will continue to do so in the name of Christ.
Satan stands before Elohim (God) day and night and accuses us of our sins and his accusations are righteous. Because his accusations are righteous we are all considered lambs for the slaughter. You should read that again. Satan tempts you to fall and then when you do fall he accuses you of disobedience and has the right to take your life or harm you because your sin has separated you from Elohim.
We may be saved by grace, but we still have rules to follow given by Elohim to keep clear from the harm that Satan can and will bring on us when we transgress or turn away from the Law or life instructions.
We all need to turn away from this pagan name and its practices that have been appointed to this very special time so that we can get on the right path, observing Yahuah’s ordinances, keeping The PASSOVER, along with our TORAH (The Law of Moses) journey, moving toward the time of his return and restored Kingdom.
We all need to repent and correct our ways! Let this year’s PASSOVER celebration be your first rehearsal as a Christian believer. It is time to do the right thing. Don't be caught without oil in your lamp or when the kingdom comes, you will be late in understanding how to navigate the darkness all the way to the gate and he will say that he never knew you.

Tonight after sundown marks the beginning of the Biblical New Year according to the book of Enoch. HAPPY NEW YEAR! In 14 days we will celebrate the PASSOVER and the true time of the death, burial, and resurrection of Yahshua the Christ. Here is a brief explanation of Enoch chapter 72

Biblical News for the End Times Christian Believer

The PASSOVER (correction)
According to stellarium.org the new moon appears in the sky in the evening of April 9th which makes Passover in Chicopee Massachusetts begin on the evening after sunset of the 23rd of April on the Gregorian calendar. I verified this with the program.
Originally I had stated that the new moon appearing on April 10th and I apologize. If stelllarium is correct and I think it is, the error had us observing Passover a day later than the appointed time according to Enoch’s explanation of how the new moon is calculated. The book of Enoch is a biblically endorsed extra biblical text that was quoted from in the book of Jude.
As for calculating the New Moon, we must turn to Enoch for guidance on what constitutes the New Moon:
Enoch 77:6
“And when the moon rises one-fourteenth part appears in the heaven: the light becomes full in her on the fourteenth day she accomplishes her light. And fifteen parts of light are transferred to her till the fifteenth day (when) her light is accomplished”
This solidifies the full moon is not considered the first day, as some would ascribe, but the middle of the month (15 days into the cycle).
Enoch 77:11-12
“During all the period during which the moon is growing in her light, she is transferring it to herself when opposite to the sun during fourteen days, and when she is illumined throughout, her light is accomplished full in the heaven. 12. And on the first day she is called the new moon, for on that day the light rises upon her”
The New Moon is the first visible sliver per Enoch (light rises upon her), as it says the first day, she is called such and we also learned that on the 15th day her light is accomplished, or full (full moon).
You can download stellarium and set the date and time from your location and it will show you where the sun moon and stars are in the sky. The screen shot image shows the new moon in the south west from Chicopee, MA

Things that make you go hmmmmm

It is very disappointing that the dispensational church makes little to no effort at all with instructions on what to do for the folks who do not believe or have not heard the Gospel and that will be left behind after the sound of the last trumpet. https://maplehollows.com/books/index_sg_audio.php

Judgement or love
How do we love our neighbor? First, we must ask ourselves, who is my neighbor? Someone might say that our neighbor is the person next to us. This could be anyone in our lives. When we boil it down we can conclude that your neighbor is every one that isn’t you. I see many posts about the lack of gratitude from people when some form of generosity has been shown. Imagine that you are stuck in a situation with someone in your life and maybe things are fine or maybe it is a very difficult relationship. You have tried everything to make things right or you do everything to avoid them because you just want peace. They are so selfish. All they do is take, take, take. No matter what you do you still you get a result from them that makes you feel used and there is no gratitude from them when you try and love them anyway. What did Christ tell us to do? He said to love your neighbor as you love yourself. So how do we love our neighbor properly? Believe it or not, the answer is an extremely selfish one. You must go out of your way to decide what you would want in the situation if you were them. You bake that cake for them with all the bells and whistles that you would desire and the frosting that you would want in the situation if you were them and you give them the result that you would want for yourself. This is how Christ told us to love our neighbor. Now the most important part… Christ never told us to focus on the result of our generosity... Their gratitude is not the reward we are supposed to desire. The absence of gratitude from the receiver of our generosity is the thing that Satan would have us focus on so that we would develop an attitude to stand against Christ’s command to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Christ’s action plan is for us to love them that use us. The greatest reward that we should desire is to know that we showed his light by giving our neighbor the love that we would desire for ourselves. Who is my neighbor? Everyone that isn’t you. Go and do…

The Day
The Biblical Day begins in the evening right after sundown. Some people still do not understand this even though our day with our calendar is measured from midnight to midnight. The Biblical New Year begins in the spring at the sighting of the first new moon. The first Day in the creation story in the Bible began in darkness and ended with light. When we observe each day in biblical times the day always starts in darkness and goes through the night “of that day” and ends in the light “of that day.” Morning breaks and never returns to darkness, and light drives the day until sundown takes over again marking the beginning of the new day that follows. Each biblical day in the creation story went from the evening at sundown through to the morning and lasted until sunset. Christ was crucified on the 3rd hour of daylight or 9:00 am. When Christ died on the cross the 9th hour of light or 3:00 PM the people that prepared his body for burial were in a HUGE rush because the Sabbath was approaching and no work is allowed on the Sabbath. He was killed on the day of the Sabbath preparation (you prepare your meals and your live stocks meals the day before so that you do as little as possible on the day of rest) or the day before Sabbath. He was killed in the daylight of Friday and buried in the daylight of Friday (1st day dead and 1st day buried). The Sabbath began (1 st night dead and buried) after Friday’s sunset. The Seventh-day began (2nd day dead and 2nd day buried) in darkness (continued through 2nd night dead and buried) and ended with morning light. The first day of the week began at sunset after Sabbath, beginning with its night into darkness (3rd night dead and buried) which gave way to its’ daylight in its’ morning (3rd-day early morning, alive again with an empty tomb). “He rose again on the third day.” (Three Days and three nights just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale) The Gregorian calendar (From Pope Gregory) that we follow today begins each day at midnight and that messes up our thinking when it comes to understanding the day, the week, and the timeline of Christ’s crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection. On the Gregorian calendar, for example, I can say it is 1 am Tuesday and you will understand that it is dark outside at that time but you will still understand that it is Tuesday. The biblical day actually begins after sunset by design in the creation story. Each new biblical day begins in DARKNESS (night) and ends in LIGHT (day). The combination of night and day is called DAY for every single day in the creation story. (All of this is with respect to understanding that this is all based on the geolocation of Israel and the Hebrew lunar Calendar) According to the Law of Moses, (The Torah), The Passover lamb is killed before sundown on the 14th day of the first month of the New Year. The lamb is cooked over the fire with unleavened bread, bitter herbs, and wine, and is eaten in haste in the darkness after sundown at the beginning of the 15th day. Christ ate the PASSOVER meal with his disciples on the 15th Day of the New Year in darkness and was betrayed, captured, tried, and crucified by 9:00 am on the 15th Day. He was buried before Sundown on the 15th day before the Sabbath began. The 15th day was Friday. He was already buried and going into Sabbath at Fridays Sundown. As always, Sabbath began in darkness, (rest) and lasted until Sundown of its’ own Daylight period. Sunday began at the Sun down after Saturday evening and Christ rose in darkness (night) and did not appear to Mary Magdalene until the early morning daylight of the first day. This year the new moon is sighted on the 2nd of April at sunset. The preparation day for Passover falls on the 16th calendar day which is 14 days after the new moon beginning at sunset on the 15th which just happened to be Friday at sunset this year, and the Passover falls on the 17th at the 16th sunset which just happens to be the Sabbath or 7th day on our Gregorian calendar at sunset. To simplify, The Passover is prepared within the 24 hours from Friday after sunset and then is eaten Saturday night after sunset, with the meal lasting until just before morning daylight and then follows the days of unleavened bread where the nation of Israel departed Egypt and rushed away with no time for their bread to rise. Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

Michael BraultI agree. The biblical day actually begins after sunset by design in the creation story. 🌅

If you kept the Sabbath as instructed your focus would be on the Creation and not the universe.

There is nothing in scripture that proclaims the existence of planets. We add that in with science fiction and imagery mixed with the names of the ancient gods. All of these things are anti-scriptural. Yet we have been trained to embrace them as believers and go against the Law of the Lord which we are suppose to love. In the Law of the Lord God told Moses...
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
These specific instructions in the command are often shared among believers to the point of not making any graven images. Most dispensational believers and writing about them stop right there with this command.
It is quite clear that God is telling Moses not to make graven images and in most published writings of the commandments the verbage ends with that phrase abut graven images. However Gods command continues with not making any likeness of anything in heaven above etc... God gives a very strong warning for those that disobey this specific command.
When a person makes a likeness of Gods original design spoken of in the creation story, that likeness then becomes talked about as an original to the point where the image or likeness of the original becomes the authority above Gods Word about it. People will defend a likeness of something in Heaven and be offended at Gods Word for pointing out not to make them nor serve them as proof of the original.
The Sun, Moon and stars do not show up as a creation until day four. The stars are named planets and universes by science and mythology, not scripture.
The idea of the earth being part of an ever expanding universe goes against the creation story. The creation story tells us the Earth was here first and then the Sun Moon and stars were placed in the firmament. It is only because we have embraced imagery that we visualize a universe. We are so used to embracing the image of it that the word of God seems forigen when we think of the Earth as being Geocentric.
You can not prove an existance of a univese with scripture and remain honest to scripture. I know this because, I have tried.
The capernacus Heliocentric model is the birth of the evolution lie that causes believers to question the creation and doubt God.
Some will argue that this moving image of planets is authentic and can never verify it themselves because the technology is, ofcourse, out of reach to the average person.

We are all lead to believe that we can make the world a better place. It never becomes one because we all define a better place differently. I am sure that my definition of a decent human being is different than most. The bible says that charity suffers long and is kind. It does not want for itself. I think about this passage a lot because I we are encouraged to be charitable to others but then we can become furious with the ones we are attempting to be kind to because they are ungrateful or misuse our very real sacrifice. Then God reminds us that we do the same thing with God's goodness toward us. Shaming people does not lead them to turn away from wickedness. The goodness of God leads us to repentance. When we are good to undeserving people they see God's goodness because that goodness is an unnatural response to their wickedness.

Jesus/Yahusa didn't come to abolish or do away with the Law. Listen to what He say's in Matthew 5. His words, not mine or your preacher's....
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law (But do the Law. As we all are to do.)
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5: 17-20 ESV

Michael BraultI was just thinking about this thismorning! He Fulfill the law. He did not rise again to make it go away. He showed us that his yoke is easy and his burden is light. Psalm 1 We are to delight in the law of Yahuah. Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 🙂
